The RPBC has a multi-stage process for considering R&D proposals.
Stage 1: Completion of a preliminary proposal form.
This can be done by an online form. It is designed to be simple and straight forward. Please use the link below to submit a Research Proposal.

Stage 2: Working with RPBC Technical Sub-committees to develop a detailed Project Plan.
The RPBC Research Area Leaders will assess Stage 1 proposals and contact those providers with whom we wish to work with to develop the Stage 2 Project Plans.
In the Project Plan, the RPBC will want to ensure that:
- The right resources are being put forward to achieve the desired outcomes. Note: Research providers are encouraged to establish the best/most appropriate partnerships (where appropriate) before submitting proposals.
- The proposed work does not repeat work already undertaken in the area.
- A clear and understandable workplan is available with staged milestones (upon which contract payments will be made), identified at the $10,000-$20,000 level.
- Intellectual property considerations are identified and agreed.
- An appropriate budget is in place.
- The Project Plan, once completed, will be approved (or otherwise) by the Technical Committee that represents our shareholders.
